Research
Define an audience and targeting criteria
Turn a researched offer into company conditions, buyer roles, geography, and exclusions.
Start with the problem
A useful audience describes who experiences the problem and why. Industry and company size can narrow a search, but they do not explain whether a company has the operating conditions your service addresses.
What nteni proposes
Audience suggestions can include company category, employee band, geography, likely buyer titles, positive criteria, and exclusions. The score is a prioritization aid. It is not a prediction that a company will buy.
Use positive and negative criteria
- Positive criteria describe a visible condition connected to the buyer problem.
- Exclusions remove companies that cannot use the offer or that you should not contact.
- Buyer titles tell discovery which role is likely to own the problem.
- Geography and company size constrain the search only when the offer requires them.
Check the search before spending
Review the selected audience and the estimated discovery cost in the workspace. If the criteria are too broad, refine the problem, company conditions, or exclusions before discovery.
