Read a company fit reason
Understand the evidence behind a company match and the limits of a market signal.
What a fit reason should answer
The fit reason connects a company condition to the problem your offer solves. It should identify the observed context, explain the relevance, and name a plausible owner of the problem. A company category alone is not a fit reason.
Source and inference are different
A source can establish that a company sells a product, serves a market, or uses a particular system. It cannot establish that the company has an active budget or intends to purchase. Treat the fit reason as a research case, not a buying intent score.
How to inspect a match
- Open the company record and read the recorded reason.
- Check the source and whether it supports the claim being made.
- Inspect the buyer role and contact state.
- Exclude a company if the evidence does not justify an introduction.
Freshness
A result describes the information available when that campaign run took place. Verify time-sensitive claims before relying on them in a message. Do not treat a single research run as a guarantee of continuous web monitoring.
