How research and sources work

Understand what nteni reads, what it infers, and what you should review.

What nteni reads

nteni maps links from the submitted site, selects a small set of likely high-value pages, and reads up to six. About, product, service, solution, feature, documentation, customer, pricing, and case-study pages receive priority. It then searches the web for a small number of market-alternative results.

Four kinds of information

  • Evidence: text read from a supplied brief or public source.
  • Synthesis: a concise description assembled from that evidence.
  • Hypothesis: a possible audience, geography, role, or company size worth testing.
  • Caution: a gap, ambiguity, or claim that needs human judgment.

When evidence is missing

Competitors and alternatives should appear only when supported by search evidence. If that evidence is missing, the honest result is an empty list. A blocked page is skipped; a run with no evidence stops.
