Outreach
Manage suppression and replies
See how opt-outs, direct requests, replies, and company exclusions affect future messages.
One suppression list across the workspace
The suppression list applies across campaigns in the organisation. Suppressing a person or company blocks future messages and cancels queued outreach for matching recipients.
Ways a contact is suppressed
- An unsubscribe request.
- A direct request to stop.
- A manual person or company suppression.
- A recipient reply when the sending workflow records the conversation.
Replies stay with the campaign
Incoming replies appear in the inbox with the earlier conversation and lead context. A reply is not treated as permission to send more automated prospecting messages.
Check before sending again
If a recipient asks not to be contacted, leave the suppression in place. Removing a suppression can expose that person to future campaigns, including campaigns you did not create.
